Cambridge Community Fire/EMS District is a combination department comprised of full-time, part-time, and volunteer/paid-on-call staff. Licensed at the paramedic level, we are able to provide the highest level of pre-hospital care available to the members and visitors of the community. We have Paramedics, AEMTs, and EMTs on staff that are highly trained through Mercy Health EMS, as medical direction.

We serve approximately 40 square miles in Dane and Jefferson Counties with an estimated population of 5,300. Our district includes the Village of Cambridge, Village of Rockdale, Town of Christiana and Town of Lake Mills. Our district also includes Hope Lake and CamRock County Park. More than 500,000 commuters per week travel on US Hwy 12, US Hwy 18, WI Hwy 73, and I-90/39 in our district.
